VM 43 C propulsion

In V-version the VM43 engine, having a bore of 430 mm and a stoke of 610 mm, is available with 12 and 16 cylinders. The output ranges from 10.800 kW (12VM43C) to 16.800 kW (16VM43C) at 500 and 514 revolutions per minute.

Gearwheel drive

The symmetrical arrangement of the gearwheels relative to one another permits, by exchanging the intermediate wheel and the stepped wheel, the use of the same camshafts in the case of different engine rotational directions.
